As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been exempted from the F1, F2, and F3 examinations. Although I’m not studying for the ACCA F2 Management Accounting examination, I’ve gone ahead and sourced helpful resources for those of you who are preparing for the exam.
ACCA F2 Management Accounting Resources
Below I’ve listed some reputable resources which will be helpful to your studies. The resources include a combination of study texts, course notes, lectures, past papers and revision kits and the details of the ACCA’s F2 exam resources.
ACCA F2 Study Texts, Course Notes and Lectures
ACCA has approved content providers for their examinations. Below I’ve listed some paid F2 study texts (you should choose only one.) Before you make your decision, take a look at the reviews for each product to get an idea of how they possibly mesh with your preferred learning style.
- Paper F2 Management Accounting (BPP)
- Paper F2 Management Accounting (Kaplan)
- Paper F2 Management Accounting (Becker)
- Paper F2 Management Accounting (Emile Woolf)
My personal preference is to have an audio and/ or visual component for studying. Open Tuition offers excellent lectures for all of the ACCA exam papers. They also offer course notes which should be used along with the lectures. Please sign up to Open Tuition so that you can access these resources.
Here is a link to Open Tuition’s ACCA F2 Management Accounting lectures and their ACCA F2 Management Accounting course notes. Whilst you are on the website, be sure to take a look at Open Tuition’s F2 Flashcards.
ACCA F2 Questions, Past Papers and Revision Kits
Whichever study text you purchase, you should also buy the matching revision kit:
- Paper F2 Management Accounting Practice and Revision Kit (BPP)
- Paper F2 Management Accounting Exam Kit (Kaplan)
- Paper F2 Management Accounting Revision Question Bank (Becker)
ACCA F2 Exam Resources
Please ensure that you read ALL of the F2 exam information listed on the ACCA website. As a new student, you will need all of the information that you can get, so that you can get through the examinations successfully.
These are the F2 Management Accounting resources that I found:
- F2 Syllabus and Study Guide
- F2 Guidance from the Examining Team
- F2 Specimen Examinations
- F2 Practice Tests
- F2 Technical Articles
- F2 Exam Formulae and Maths Tables
- F2 Self-Study Guides
- F2 FAQs
ACCA F2 Management Accounting Study Timetable
Create you own study schedule for the ACCA F2 Management Accounting examination. If you create a two month study schedule, you can begin studying on the first day of the month following the end of the last examinations. So, if you are preparing for the March 2017 exam, you should have started studying on the 01 January 2017. If you are studying for the June examination, you should begin studying on the 01 April 2017.
Let me know how you are progressing in your studies and if the timetable approach is working for you.
